So........... it's been a while. Seems summer is passing by quickly and I haven't had a moment to even think. This summer has been very busy and today I'm saddled with a whopper of a migrane that has forced me to take pause in my busy life, so here I am.....blogging. My daughter Stephanie has come and gone......California......Romania........BC........and now a camping trip with friends that I've hardly seen her that much this summer. But thank goodness for technology, because what would I do without all her drama on a daily basis. She starts college in the fall and that has been an adventure. Today, I finally got all her classes in place and paid that huge honkin whopper of a bill. Hmmm......appreciate much?
My son Colton has decided he needs a new snowboard because apparently his is too used and small. So my husband and Colton set off to a snowboard convention in hopes of finding a new board. Now this would be my fault as I suggested they go together as I had to work and would be a good father son bonding time. BIG BIG mistake. It's like letting children loose in a toy store. Let me see.....they came home with new goggles (didn't need), now gloves (didn't need), new board bag (didn't need), new boots (doubtful that was needed) and a new (SPRING) coat (which he needed for WINTER). Oh, and.....wait for it.....NO BOARD. Hmmmm. Now isn't that what they were supposed to go for. Will I ever learn. Now, if I had gone, this wouldn't of happened and he would of been lucky to come home with a happy, sane Mama, possibly with a new board and a WINTER coat.
So, for now I will reach for my super dose Advil and super strenght Tylenol and try to clear this foggy brain of mine, there's no sense in fussing now. It will just give me another headache. Maybe that's why I have a migrane.......MEN! oh and my Drama Queen Steph.
